Oxygen analyzers are widely used in petroleum, chemical and pharmaceutical fields. In fact, oxygen analyzers can also be used in related processes in industrial furnaces. Under normal circumstances, due to the working environment, an explosion-proof oxygen analyzer is usually used. The principle of the oxygen analyzer is an electrochemical oxygen sensor, which is small in size, light in weight, simple to operate and easy to maintain. The instrument adopts membrane touch switch, which has good sealing performance, accuracy and reliability.

The significance of measuring the oxygen content in the flue gas with an oxygen analyzer in an industrial furnace is to prevent excess air from entering the furnace, increase physical heat loss, and prevent chemical incomplete combustion heat loss caused by insufficient oxygen content. When the oxygen content in the flue gas is low, it means that insufficient oxygen will result in insufficient combustion of the gas, and a large amount of carbon monoxide will be discharged from the furnace, thereby polluting the environment. When the flue gas has a large oxygen content, it means that the excess air coefficient is too large. At this time, the flue gas volume will increase, which will bring a large amount of physical heat out of the furnace and cause waste.

Oxygen content is the ratio of oxygen to other substances in the atmosphere. In general, the oxygen content in the atmosphere is about 21%. In the monitoring of flue gas pollution sources in the professional field of environmental protection, oxygen content is used to convert the concentration of gaseous pollutants in combustion exhaust gas. Because different furnaces have different oxygen content in the production process, the same furnace is sometimes at the level of production control and advanced equipment. There are also differences in level and maintenance level.
Therefore, when calculating the pollutant emission concentration, the reference oxygen content will be specified for the same furnace, which can be used to convert the pollutant emission concentration and determine whether it meets the national emission standards. In environmental supervision and law enforcement, law enforcement officers will also judge whether there are environmental violations such as smoke dilution, illegal discharge and leakage based on the oxygen content data in the exhaust gas.
