JRC releases new system reset IC NJU2103A into mass production

New Japan Radio (NJR) newly developed system reset IC NJU2103A/NJU2103B and system reset IC NJU2102A with watchdog timer function finally entered the mass production stage.

New Japan Radio has developed two new system reset ICs for monitoring power supply voltage circuits in various electrical equipment through the use of micromachining technology and independently developed circuit technology, which replace the previous products NJM2103 and NJM2102. One is the system reset IC NJU2103A, NJU2103B, which can monitor the power supply voltage and any voltage in two systems. The other is the system reset IC NJU2102A, which has a built-in watchdog timer, which allows various microcomputer systems with fail-safe functions.
The voltage detection accuracy of NJU2103A, NJU2103B and NJU2102A has reached 1%, and the power consumption has been halved compared with previous products, thus improving the characteristics of the products.
Due to the improvement of the voltage detection accuracy of the system reset IC, the voltage can be set near the detection voltage, and the accuracy of power monitoring of electrical equipment is also improved. The above features coupled with low power consumption can extend the service life of battery devices.
